Designed, cnc machined & tested all in house at Enhanced Automotive, Australia’s only automotive LS specialist equipped with cnc facilities, machined from billet 6061-t6 aircraft grade aluminium to precision tolerances, the pickup clamp is designed to hold the pickup tube perfectly straight to the oil pump, for maximum oring sealing, from factory they are only equipped with a single bolt up design, the oil pump actually allows double clamping, a common fault with the LS engine, engine builders/ camshaft installers incorrectly fit the pickup tube, causing excessive load on the oring, resulting in air rated oil supply, which causes poor oil pressure and premature engine failure.
